Okonomi Yaki step by step
- Cut the cabbage 1 cm square size. Chop the spring onion..
- Make the dough. Granted the Chinese yam. Put all dough ingredients in a bowl and mix well..
- Take one quarter each of the vegetables & dough to another bowl. Mix the vegetables & dough well by a spoon..
- Pour the dough into an oiled pan. Then cover the surface of the dough with a slice of pork belly..
- Adjust the shape to a round shape with a flyback. Bake for 4 minutes..
- Turn over after 4 minutes and bake for another 4 minutes. After that, turn over again and bake for another 3 minutes. Do the same for the remaining 3 servings..
- Place on a plate, sprinkle with Okonomiyaki sauce, Mayonnaise, Bonito flakes, and Aosa seaweed..
So you can add any of your favorite ingredients in okonomi-yaki. We made ours with shrimp crab meat and shiitaki mushroom. Mix together the flour, salt, and baking powder and sift.
