- It's 6 of idlis (cooked/ leftovers).
- You need 4-5 of garlic cloves (finely chopped).
- Prepare 1 tsp of green chilli ginger paste.
- Prepare 1 of onion (petals).
- You need 1 of capsicum,(cubed).
- You need 1/2 cup of cabbage.
- Prepare 2 tbsp of spring onion.
- You need 1 tsp of red chilli sauce.
- Prepare 1 1/2 tsp of soy sauce.
- Prepare 1 tbsp of tomato sauce.
- Prepare 1 tbsp of vinegar.
- You need 1 tbsp of schezwan sauce.
- Prepare Few of drops orange food colour (optional).
- You need 2 tbsp of oil.

- You need 1/4 cup of All purpose flour.
- It's 2 + 1 tbsp of corn flour.
- Prepare 1 tbsp of rice flour.
- Prepare to taste of salt.
- You need 1/2 tsp of red chilli powder.
Chinese Chilli Idli instructions
- First cut all idli into long strips..
- In a bow add all purpose flour, corn flour, rice flour,salt and red chilli powder,mix well,add water and make medium thick batter..
- Meanwhile heat oil in a wok, now dip idli pieces one by one into the better and drop into hot oil.Fry until nice golden in colour on medium to high flame.keep aside..
- Now in a pan/wok heat 2tbsp oil, add chopped garlic,stir for few secs. add onion,capsicum and cabbage.Saute on a medium heat for few minutes..
- Add ginger chilli paste,saute well.Add soya sauce, tomato sauce, vinegar, red chilli sauce, schezwan sauce,food colour and salt.Mix well..
- In a small bowl add 1 tbsp corn flour and water to make paste,add this corn flour paste in the pan and mix well..
- Add fried idli and saute until well combined..
- Chinese chilli idli is ready to serve..
